Biography
Henry Heyward Manigault (1819-1869) was a South Carolina rice planter in St. Paul's Parish, Colleton District (now county), South Carolina. In 1841 he married his first cousin Charlotte Morris (1821-1902). According to the slave schedules for 1860, they enslaved 83 persons. At the conclusion of the Civil War, the couple expatriated to Paris, where he died in 1869.
